20/20 With Bells
After the Monte Carlo Event and side events taking up the third weekend in December, the 20/20 event at DTD started today with the second event tomorrow (Bank Holiday Monday). Just to remind you all what the 20/20 weekend is all about; It is a £100 one day event 10,000 chips and a 30 minute clock that is mirrored on the following day.
This months seems to be more popular as people have been deprived of poker for the last 3 days in the East Midlands. The event is capped at 270 and this afternoon saw 14 alternates being lucky enough to get in making the total 284 players. This means the top prize is over 85 x the entry money!!
Tomorrow sees the poker prodigy Squirmy hitting the Nottingham Poker Mecca, and I am predicting that a final table at the very least for one of pokers good guys. To be eligible to play this you need to get down there ASAP as the demand for this game is ridiculous, it kicks off at 2pm, and will probably be full at 1.30.
