Anyone else get the feeling where going to get hammerd again?
To mark the start of the 65th ashes series between England and Australia, Sky sports will be showing the 888.com Poker ashes starting Wednesday the 15th with the final ‘Test’ being shown on Sunday the 19th.
The England poker team, captained by Darren Gough will hope to emulate there cricketing counter parts who fought a valiant rear guard action to draw the 1st test in Cardiff on Sunday, and as poker players know half the pot is better than nothing!
The Australian team will be captained by the wizard of spin himself, international cricketing legend Shane Warne. Warne has been a representative of 888 poker for two year’s now and many professionals have commented on the leaps he has made in his game, so it will be interesting to see how he fares against the opposition captain, a relative new comer to poker Darren Gough
Filming of the show finished last week and all accounts it was an extremely exciting match as befitting one of the oldest rivalries in international sports, the first episode will be shown 10:30pm on sky sports one so make sure you ‘catch’ it.
