Another Entrance
2009 WSOP Vegas Mr Phil Hellmuth entered a gladiators arena, carried in like Caesar surrounded by beautiful women that had auditioned for the part, ready to conquer all. 2009 entry.
2008 he turned up to the party dressed up as General George S Patton, and in 2007 he turned up as a racing driver after famously crashing his car in the Rio Car park.
Known for his Grand entries Phil Hellmuth turned up to this years English Poker Open very understatedly, in fact even though the red carpet was out and a greeting party ready to receive him, he walked in unnoticed to many. I was less than 15 feet away and didn’t realise he had took his seat. Last years WSOPE he must have come as the child catcher or some other horrible character as the only memorable action by him last year was making a dealer cry.
Still searching for his illusive 12th bracelet he takes on another bracelet attempt on Saturday 26th, his press office (?) has released clues to this years grand entrance, UltimateBet commented his entrance would be “Fit for a King” and that “you don’t have to wait outside of Buckingham Palace to spot royalty in London”. So maybe we will see King Phil enter London’s Empire Casino.
At which point do you think he will realise that every time he turns up in his regalia, the absence of another bracelet makes the world think …. DICK!
