Dealer Poker Championships
Work in casino’s? Fancy pitting yourself against 700 fellow workers in a game of poker? Yup it is that time of year again for the Dealerem Poker championships. This year it will be held in the Casino Grand Madrid in Spain from the 31st August to the 2nd of September. Kicking off the festivities in the Grand will be singer Crystal Waters before the 2009 Card Poker Challenge.
For those of you that think you have been on the ultimate piss up and poker weekend, these croupiers take it to the next level. Last year the event took place in Aspers Newcastle, and even the geordies couldn’t keep up 
This is the 14th year of the Dealerem event, and it gives ultimate bragging rights from across Europe. This year so far there only 25 UK dealers entered, with the majority coming from Holland where it all first started.
The organizers A.C.E. (Association of Casino Employees) aim to support the communication, exchange of experiences and friendship between casino staff, and to improve the standing of casino-employees all over Europe. In short a European staff party. Registration closes on the 10th August so not long to register!
