GUKPT Online Festival
Naturist’s and agoraphobics, fear not! Your time has come to take place in one of 5 GUKPT events, as they will be held online at Blue Square this week. But beware, all of these events have GUKPT ranking points, and each individual winner, will have to venture out of their house to play the “Champion of Champions” event in the Luton G at the start of December. This festival has over $100,000 in guaranteed prizes and seen as the little sister of the remarkably successful Grosvenor United Kingdom Poker Tour, so some big prizes will be on offer.
Starting tonight (20/07/09) at 8pm, there is a $200 + $15 NLHE freezeout, the rest of the online series are as follows;
Tuesday 21/07/2009 $500 + $30 NL Hold’em Freezeout 8pm
Wednesday 22/07/2009 $200 + $15 PL Omaha 1 Rebuy + 1 Add on 8pm
Thursday 23/07/2009 $300 + $20 NL Hold’em Freezeout 8pm
Friday 24/07/2009 $1,000 + $60 NL Hold’em Freezeout 8pm
Last year the main event was $500, and only had 117 runners, $10,000 was added, the winner then was Riffman117 who pipped JoetheJoker (Joe Grech) for the top prize of over $18,000. The structure was the same as the live events, apart from the levels were 30 minutes instead of an hour. I presume it is the same this year?
For those of you on limited budgets there are freerolls to feeders and feeder rebuys from 4pm to each event daily.
