Jamie Golds Charity Poker Tournament

jamie-gold-Jamie Gold’s Charity Poker Tournament will take place this week at the Casino at the Empire, during the Poker in the Park festival. Starting tomorrow (Thursday 13th August) the festivities begin, as already reported here and here with an additional £200 event for charity starting at 7:30 at the Empire. This competition is limited to 50 players but 10 of those 50 seats will be limited to Jamie Gold and Peter Eastgates (co host) “friends”. The entry money will go towards the Jamie Gold Foundation which supports a number of charities. Don’t think there won’t be any prizes though as some great prizes have been donated, consisting of;

  • EPT seat worth £5,200 donated by Poker Stars
  • £3,000 Unibet Open Package
  • Gresham Blake Tailor Made Suit
  • Custom Chip Set from Marlow Casino Chips
  • £1,000 Gevril Wristwatch courtesy of Bluff Europe magazine
  • Custom Poker Table worth £3,000
  • Tag Heuer Sunglasses
  • £1,500 Oceanault Wristwatch donated by Jamie Gold
  • £1,000 PopStar’ Experience including one nights accommodation at Reading’s 5 Star Forbury Hotel
  • Poker & Golf program with Dare2Dream
  • A week’s poker training by “The Maven” in his Las Vegas poker academy
  • £1800 suite and dinner package at The Westbury Hotel in Mayfair donated by LPC
  • The way the prizes work out, is that 1st place has first pick of any of the prizes, 2nd place has 2nd pick etc until all the prizes are won. There are 12 prizes here and maybe more by tomorrow, but at the moment 24% of the field will be paid.
