The main event is sill being played out in Las Vegas, unfortunately there is no live video footage but there is audio supplied by Bluff magazine from here and text coverage from poker news here.
Its bad news for Brit James Akenhead a roller ocaster day saw an early treble through when he riverd a queen to make two pair and move to 14 million a few hours later his short stacked when he runs his kings into Schaffels aces and fails to hit his miracle card.
The only other elimination was Schaffel himself, again picking up aces when an opponent had kings but this time it was Eric Buchman who spiked a king on the flop and then another on the river for quads, which must have felt like a bit of a piss take to shcaffel.
At 6:30am UK time the chips counts are,
Moon – 37,800,000
Ivey – 10,500.000
Begleiter – 47,600,000
Buchman – 46,000,000
Cada – 12,000,000
Saout – 28,000,000
Shulman – 15,600,000

Ivey out in 7th, SS shoves AK called by Darvin Moon’s AQ, Queen on the flop ends it for Ivey.

Cada gets it all in against Shulman, Cada 33 V’s Shulman JJ, 3 in the window and Cada crosses the 30mil mark adn Shulman is in all sort on 1.7 at 300/600K.
Cada doubles up though Moon, AA V K9! Moon Opens, cada re-raises, moon moves all in and Cada snaps with the aces. Cada on 60 mil and chip leader.
Shulman doubles up a couple of times to 10mil.
