Poker in the Park 2009
Leicester Square is once again the venue for this years Poker in the Park, It is to be held on the 13th and 14th of August. If you are a poker nut, in any shape or form, this will be the place to be this summer, it is Europes biggest poker festival (festival in the truest sense of the word) Lessons, books, gear, celebrities, seminars and much more, including Turbo heads up matches with some of Britains best players.
Ten Tents this year include,
Tent 1 – The Poker Dome, Hourly STT turbos (sponsored by Bluff)
Tent 2 – Mocktail bar, non alchololic
Tent 3 – Omaha, understand how to play from a series of seminars, including Omaha Hi/Lo STT’s
Tent 4 – Poker Academy Lecture Tent, Free lectures every hour throughout the day by winning poker pros
Tent 5 – Heads Up Bar (sponsored by PKR)
Tent 6 – TBA
Tent 7 – Pokershopuk, get all the gear
Tent 8 – Prime Table Games
Tent 9 – TBA
Tent 10 – Poker Book Pavillion
Book signing and Q&A session with Derek Kelly (woo hoo)
Attendees will include
Neil Channing, Paul Jackson, Ian Frazer, Tom Sambrook, Kara Scott, Nick Persaud, and Nick Wealthall among many others.
