PokerStars.Com Offer UK Players TV Shot
In a new promotion only open to their UK based players, PokerStars.Com are offering the chance to appear on a new TV show with a shot at taking on a top poker professional or poker playing celebrity for £5,000 in cold hard cash.
The new TV show to be shown on SKY sports will pit six online qualifiers against each other in a single table tournament, with the winner going on to play heads-up against a Star of Poker with £5,000 going to the winner. PokerStars.com have yet to confirm the professional/celebrity players but with team PokerStars members such as Daniel Negreanu, Peter Eastgate, Joe Hachem and Greg Raymer at there disposal there is likely to be some top poker talent on display.
PokerStars.Com are offering many different ways to qualify, there are freerolls, $1 cash qualifiers and 100 FPP tournaments for GoldStar VIPs and above. There are two qualification periods, so lots of chances to win a seat. Players that win their seats on the TV shows will also receive $500 in cash towards travel expenses.
