The 3rd National GUKPT League

national_leagueLess than 2 weeks remain of this the 3rd national league being sponsored by Blue Square, and as of the 10th August 2009 heading the leaderboard was Gary Brewer on a massive 131 points,  with Steve Vigor in 2nd on 97 points, closely followed by Northamptons Dave Johnson in 3rd with 93 points.

    The current league which runs for 12 weeks, will end on the 31st of August with some fantastic prizes on offer for the top 100 players, the first 3 will get :-

1st £3000 GUKPT Grand final seat + a seat in the Champion of Champions.

2nd £3000 GUKPT Grand final seat.

3rd £1000 GUKPT seat of choice ( excluding London Victoria)

   The top 100 will then play off for various cash prizes that range from £25 for 100th place upto £900 for 4th place and GUKPT seats for the top 3 players.

   Some of our forum members are still in with a shout at the cash and seats available including; Sue Pellington ( spell66) who had a great result in the last league final coming 12th, James Alcock ( spandex) who had a top 50 finish in the last league final,  and Sean Perry (peskie) who has twice finished in the top 50 in the national league, and is in the mix for a 3rd time still in the top 100.

  The finals will be held in late September and will be an online freeze-out with each player starting on an equal footing with 1500 chips.

  UKPI would like to wish all qualifiers the best of luck in the finals, and you never know one of our forum members just could make the grand final.
